Annapolis Christian Academy (ACA) Varsity 6-Man Football Team won the TCAL Division 2 State Championship on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at the Portland Sports Complex in Portland, Texas. ACA defeated San Antonio Town East Christian to take home the state title, ACA’s first since 2009.
ACA’s Brendan Liefer threw for 223 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Warriors to a 65-53 victory. Joshua Cavazos, who finished the game with 155 yards receiving along with two TDs. Joshua Guzman added a receiving touchdown, and Jacob Segundo rushed for 109 yards on 12 carries and two touchdowns. ACA Junior, Bryan Lerma, took home the MVP title for the championship game.
ACA will celebrate with a Pep Rally on Friday, November 19th in the Warrior Gym at 2:20 pm.
