Congratulations to the Varsity Lady Warriors Track Team for winning the 2016 Division II State Track Championship Title for the 3rd Year in a row!
The Annapolis Christian Academy Lady Warriors Track Team, led by coaches Andres Garcia and Carolyn Alford, competed against 15 other teams consisting of 450 athletes from across the state of Texas. The Lady Warriors earned a total of 140 points, beating the second place team by 31 points.
The competition, hosted by Bran Allen Academy in College Station, lasted for 2 full days with the Lady Warriors annihilating their competition in the second day running events earning top spots in the 800m, 100m relay, 200m relay, 400m relay, 100m dash, 300m hurdles, 100m hurdles, and the mile race.
Samantha Wilmot – long jump, triple jump, bronze in 800m, silver in 400m, gold in the 4X400m relay
Rebecca Wilmot – 100 m hurdle, 300 m hurdle
Madeline Williams – gold in the 800m, 400m, high jump, gold in the 4X400m relay
Lauren Reynolds – high jump, 200 m, silver 4X200m relay, silver in the 4X100m relay
Dorothy Dodson – 1 mile and 2 mile
Maya Liefer – 1 mile, 2 mile,
Hannah Mellor – bronze in the 1 mile, 2 mile, gold in the 4X400m relay
Bryn Glover – gold in long jump, silver in triple jump, silver in 4X100m relay, silver in 200m relay, silver in 100m
Kate Messner – 100m hurdles, 300m hurdles
Cynthia Ferguson – silver in the 800m, 400m, gold in the 4X400 m relay
Calysta Rice – long jump, bronze in the triple jump, silver in the 4X100m relay, silver in the 4x200m relay, 100m
Camryn Gonzalez – shot put, discus throw, silver in 4X100m relay, silver in the 4X200m relay, 200m
